The Ado Youth Community Strongly Condemns the Abduction of the Emir of Gurku and His Spouse BY OKWO ROMEON, FCT Abuja

The Ado Progressive Youths Association, a unifying force representing the entire spectrum of Ado youth, vehemently denounces and deplores the brazen abduction of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gurku, Alhaji Jibrin Waziri, and his esteemed wife, Hajiya Saadatu. This heinous act transpired earlier this week within the very confines of his ancestral home, Gurku, situated in the Karu local government area of Nassarawa state.


In an official press communiqué disseminated on Tuesday, the resolute President -the voice of the Association, Mallam Nasiru Isah (Comrade), expressed profound sorrow and conveyed the collective melancholy that pervades the Ado youth community. We stand in solidarity with the Gurku community, offering heartfelt sympathies for the distressing incident that has befallen His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gurku, Alhaji Jibrin Waziri, and his venerable spouse, Hajiya Saadatu, as they were plucked from their realm in broad daylight.


Comrade Nasiru underscored the prevailing calm that envelops the Ado youth and the broader community, tranquility laced with fervent prayers to the Divine for the safekeeping, enlightenment, and eventual liberation of the abducted royal couple from the clutches of their captors. He entreated the pertinent authorities, with a special emphasis on law enforcement agencies, to employ every conceivable resource and effort to secure their prompt and unharmed release.


Let it be known that our paramount focus amidst these challenging circumstances rests unequivocally upon the emancipation of the revered Sakin. This quest for freedom occupies the pinnacle of our concerns.


In his address, Comrade Isah expressed gratitude on behalf of the Ado Youths Association and the entire Ado populace towards the Nasarawa State government, the esteemed Chairman of Karu local government, Mr. James Thomas, and the entire constellation of security agencies for their swift and decisive response to this grave incident. He aptly underscored that the reverberations of this event transcend the Gurku community, resonating throughout the entirety of Karu LGA, the broader expanse of Nasarawa State, and indeed the entirety of our great nation, Nigeria. May the divine providence of Almighty Allah fortify and guide His Royal Highness and His cherished wife as they traverse this arduous journey toward a safe and untethered reunion.


In closing, we, the Ado Progressive Youths Association, uphold an unwavering resolve that the valiant spirit of Gurku shall remain unshaken, and the principles of justice and liberty shall ultimately prevail, illuminating the path to the safe return of our revered monarch and his beloved partner.
