Inferno destroyed properties worth Millions in Lafia. By Musa Ado Lafia

The Nassarawa state capital,Lafia was thrown into commotion on Thursday as fire Gulf the New Modern Market  city center Lafia destroyed properties worth over a hundred of millions naira.


Inferno at ragged.

The state fire 🚒 service which gets to place of incident late was unable to save the day as most traders had lost their goods before the truck arrived and their intervention mean less to help the situation.

According to one of the traders, who spoke with our correspondent, Mr Saidu ,said up till now,I can't tell the actual causes of the incident but we are shocked people start shouting fire🔥,fire !

I have lost so many things and am not even myself now he said.
As of this report, the Manager of the market was not available to speak on the incident.
