The Concerned Citizens of Karu have issued a heartfelt appeal to the Governor, highlighting the urgent needs of several communities in Karu Local Government Area that remain in dire need of intervention. Despite the Governor's strides in infrastructure development and community upliftment, these communities continue to grapple with significant challenges.

The communities of Gitata, Panda, Kare, Kondoro, Ankoma, Koso, Kugee, and the road to Mararaba Gurku are facing immense difficulties, particularly with regards to transportation and access to essential services. The river that separates these communities has become a deathtrap for locals crossing it, hindering transportation, disrupting livelihoods, and isolating communities from opportunities.


The Impact on Daily Life


The lack of reliable infrastructure has a significant impact on the daily lives of residents in these communities. It affects their ability to access basic services such as healthcare, education, and markets. The isolation also limits economic opportunities, making it difficult for residents to improve their socio-economic status.

The Concerned Citizens are calling on the Governor to extend his transformative vision to these underserved communities by prioritizing the construction of bridges or improved road networks. This would unlock immense potential for these areas, fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.
