Independent Anniversary: Dr Ibrahim Waziri called for greater Unity Among ethnic groups. by Okwo romeon in Bauchi

The Independent anniversary marks a significant moment in the nation's history, and we are proud to be part of the journey towards greatness, as one of the largest ethnic tribes of the country, the Subawan (Fulani) tribe had outgrown their traditional role which most Nigerians know them for but have contributed significantly in politics, education, agriculture and overall development of Nigeria.

These are the words of Dr Ibrahim Waziri,the new Sarkin Sullubawa of Bauchi State as he plead for greater Unity Among Nigeria ethnic group as the nation marks her 65th year of independence.

According to Dr Waziri (Sarkin Sullubawa)

"As we celebrate this special day, we are reminded of the importance of unity and collective effort in achieving our national goals. We call on all Nigerians to come together, putting aside our differences, to work towards a brighter future for our country. By doing so, we can harness our diverse talents and resources to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.

We pray for the continued wisdom and strength of our leaders, that they may be guided by the Almighty in their decision-making. We are confident that with God's blessing, Nigeria will overcome its challenges and achieve greatness.

We are proud of the progress in Bauchi State that has been made under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed. We pray that Allah will continue to bless our state with peace, prosperity, and development.

As we celebrate Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary, we are filled with hope and optimism for the future. We wish the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bauchi State and the entire state and Nigerians across the country a happy anniversary. May God bless our nation and guide us towards a brighter future.

Dr Ibrahim Waziri also called on his Fulani communities in Bauchi State and across Nigeria to unite and participate in the Clarion called for nation building especially in time the nation needs peaceful coexistence among the devese ethnic group.
