Gabu: we miss our chance via sisterhood

The issue of Community development is a thing that all my peoples both at home and abroad don't play with,it is not because,we are united as people,no,it is because every Gabu son and daughter want to have access to our great village any time he or she goes home or most of us want our parents to even have good roads to transport their food produces to markets and paid our siblings school fees and others things incase we are unable to foot all their expenditures hence some of us are not resourceful enough to shoulder all the responsibilities or likely skilled to make more money like others tribes within our domain whose parents at village always looked up to.Among many other things,it is our pride when we have a community that is infrastructure standard so we can bring our friends.
Over the last 35 years or there-about,the odds of Community self developments had not gotten its rightful perspectives,as many efforts of solely emancipators that champions such causes had not yell the desired results,many associations had being form to trouble the slow space of our community developments,from the Gabu developments association(GDA) in late ninety to the national Council of Gabu Indigence(NACOGI) ,the stories is same,with just few difference.
While both associations wine and drink every year end,the symptoms that stroke their formations stay far from them.A small Community that is divided in political lines draw solace from hope,it has being hope upon hope with no suggestive ways to milk the only cash cow the community had produced to the state.
It almost five years going,we are yet to realized that,"our only chance " was given to our daughter though married to our cousins,for those of us that are related to other side,and it seem our daughter has not find it necessary to know why "Esther"should cry loud to the king.
Although I'm not a prophet,but I had made it clear to all of us ,the last time,when Bulldozer was deployed to cleared grass from our road before the elections that,it's not yet to time to celebrate as they was no terms of such contract with the Cross river state government even through I had to politely congratulate our sister effort awaiting my judgements.
I recalled the ways,young fellows from the community who think that,they love our sister more than some of us start attacking me and others over who awarded the contract,as I write,no one has come on line again to show the picture of the roads,some are far silent now and I hope this write up should wake them up to show us the road
Now back to my crazy question all the times,why NACOGI by the way ?. A socio cultural association that cannot organize a Town meeting between our respresentatives who is even our daughter that we all knew for the past four years should not even being existing for me at the first place,it is not in my place or any other person to speak for Gabu,it is the duty of the Association,that why Exco member were elected,how come the association is silent over our marginalization or not even giving kudos to the littles things that is said to be done by some people.
In my previous write-up,I' had draw up the roles of socio-cultural association,expectations and follow-ups.My augment is that,we can all do better if only we play by the roles.
Example,
* NACOGI should be the one in forefront to bring our representatives to a town hall meeting
* They should set the agenda for the community development s
* They should serve as the community watchdog in the state and national issues and many others but up till date,I m yet to see NACOGI even visit any of the Senator,Honorable members.what is the challenge ?
We have less than four years again to 2023 and it is my believe our politicians especially our own daughter will beat posterity to time and prove me wrong.
There is no representation without the people and the early we understand,that,true representation as now defined by many communities,"is that person that bring back the bags of sand home to cover the father gulley"
Gabu will real miss if the sisterhood fail us,I can point to that direction now but let me not be too quick to say,but thank God we are seeing the rationales behinds "let-our-own been mentality,as for me I don't mind who ever put drugs in my community hospital or paved the road to the market served my brotherhood.
