Grief as Police Inspector Dies in Line of Duty in Imo

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the death of Inspector Habila Mangai following a road accident in Imo State.

Mangai was struck by a truck while performing his duties at Amaraku along the Owerri–Okigwe Road. He was taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, where he was pronounced dead.

Police authorities have taken the driver into custody and launched a full investigation.

The Inspector-General, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, condoled with the bereaved and assured justice.
