The African Action Congress (AAC) has conducted its governorship primary election in Bauchi State, reaffirming its determination to take over the state's Government House in the 2027 general elections.

The primary election, held at the Double 4 International Conference Centre in Bauchi, saw prominent businessman and philanthropist, Abdullahi Adamu Dan China, emerge as the party's governorship candidate unopposed.

Speaking shortly after the declaration of the results, the State Chairman of the AAC, Ambassador Umar Y. Abubakar, described the exercise as transparent, peaceful, and a demonstration of the party's commitment to democratic principles and effective governance.

The official announcement of Dan China's emergence was made by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Musa Abubakar.

In his acceptance speech, Dan China called on supporters and eligible voters across the state to rally behind the AAC and work towards electoral victory in 2027.

He pledged to build on his philanthropic efforts by promoting agricultural development, supporting mining activities, improving education, and investing in other critical sectors that enhance human capital development.

The AAC governorship candidate also promised to transform Bauchi into one of Nigeria's leading states in infrastructure development if elected governor in 2027.

Dan China assured residents of his commitment to delivering people-oriented policies and sustainable development aimed at improving the living standards of citizens across the state.

He concluded by thanking party members and supporters for their confidence in his candidature, wishing them safe journeys home, and urging them to spread his message of hope and development to every corner of Bauchi State.
