ABUJA: NASC confirms Ibrahim Sidi as substantive Clerk of House of Representatives By Okwo Romeon, ABUJA

The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has confirmed Mr Ibrahim Sidi as the substantive Clerk of the House of Representatives.

The Commission also approved the appointments of five other senior officials of the National Assembly as part of efforts to strengthen the administrative leadership of the legislature.

The confirmation, announced after a meeting of the Commission, marks a significant step in consolidating the institutional capacity of the National Assembly's bureaucracy.

Sidi, who had been serving in an acting capacity, now assumes the position as the substantive Clerk of the House of Representatives. His confirmation is expected to provide continuity in the administration of the Green Chamber and enhance legislative support services.

The Commission said the appointments of the other senior officials were in line with its constitutional mandate to ensure effective administration and efficient service delivery within the National Assembly.

Further details of the appointments and the identities of the five other officials are expected to be released by the Commission.
