A stronger upstream sector means a stronger energy future for Nigeria.

That was the message as NNPC Ltd. joined stakeholders across Nigeria’s oil and gas industry to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).

Leading NNPC Ltd.’s delegation to the anniversary event in Abuja, Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, congratulated the Commission on the milestone and commended its progress in strengthening Nigeria’s upstream sector.

Ojulari reaffirmed NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to working closely with NUPRC to grow Nigeria’s hydrocarbon reserves, increase oil production, accelerate gas development and create greater value for Nigeria and Nigerians.

As the industry looks ahead, collaboration, investment and effective regulation remain key to unlocking Nigeria’s energy potential.
