The high-profile visit comes against the backdrop of growing efforts by the Federal Government to extend its development and social intervention programmes to communities across the country.
The ICT Centre at Oko is expected to provide students and young people with greater access to digital resources and skills, while the Food Bank Programme is designed to provide critical assistance to vulnerable citizens and strengthen community-based social support.
Beyond the commissioning of the projects, Senator Tinubu's visit is expected to reinforce the partnership between the Federal Government and Anambra State on programmes focused on education, digital inclusion, food security, social welfare and human capital development.
The First Lady's engagement in the South-East also provides an opportunity to strengthen the Federal Government's connection with communities in the region and highlight ongoing efforts to ensure that federal interventions reach citizens at the grassroots.
With preparations already underway, the state is rolling out the welcome for the First Lady as Anambra prepares for a visit expected to combine political engagement, social intervention and development initiatives.
